PACKARCS Packaging Co.
04Process

From a measurement to a finished run.

Six stages, the same for a small launch run or a seasonal reorder. You see and approve the box twice before production starts.

01The stages

The six stages of a project

  1. 01

    Brief

Tell us what goes inside, how many you need and where it is sold. A photo of the product and its measurements are enough to start.

If you already have packaging you like or dislike, send a photo of that too. It tells us more than a mood board.

  2. 02

    Structure

We choose the construction and draw a dieline to the product's real dimensions, with clearance for inserts and tissue.

You receive the dieline as a PDF with the bleed, glue areas and turn-ins marked, so your designer can place artwork exactly.

  3. 03

    Sample

A plain white sample checks fit. A printed sample checks colour, foil and finish. Nothing goes to production until you sign off.

Samples are made on the same line, with the same board and paper, as the final run. What you approve is what you get.

  4. 04

    Production

Board is cut, papers are printed and finished, and each box is wrapped and pressed on our line.

Foil dies and emboss blocks are made for your artwork. Board and paper are ordered for the full quantity at once, so colour stays consistent across the run.

    Check & pack

Boxes are inspected for corners, glue lines and foil registration, then packed in cartons for transit.

Each box is looked at, not sampled from a carton. Anything with a lifted corner, a glue mark or foil out of register is set aside.

    Dispatch

Shipped from Jaipur by surface or air freight anywhere in India, with tracking shared on WhatsApp.

Rigid boxes travel set up or flat, depending on construction and volume. We pack them in corrugated cartons with corner protection.

02Before we quote

What we need from you.

With these five things we can suggest a construction and give an indicative price, usually without a call. Missing one is fine; we will ask.

Send them on WhatsApp
  • Product dimensions

Length, width and height in millimetres, measured at the widest points, plus weight if it is heavy or fragile.

  • Quantity

The first order and, if you know it, the likely reorder. Both affect which construction makes sense.

  • Artwork files

AI, PDF or CDR, with fonts outlined and Pantone references for brand colours. No artwork yet is fine; we can start from a logo.

  • Deadline

The date the boxes must be in your hands, not the launch date. Tell us early if it is fixed.

  • Delivery city

One address or several. We ship anywhere in India and can split a run between warehouses.

03Samples

Two samples, two different questions.

Splitting fit from finish means a wrong measurement never costs you a set of foil dies, and a colour change never needs a new structure.

First

White sample

Built from the real greyboard but wrapped in plain white paper, with no print or finish. You put the product inside and check the fit, the depth of the insert, how the lid closes and how the box feels in the hand. Changes here are quick and cheap.

Then

Printed sample

The finished box, with your artwork printed on the chosen paper, foiled, embossed and wrapped exactly as production will be. This is where you judge colour, foil weight and texture. Once you sign it off, it becomes the reference every box in the run is checked against.

Start with a measurement.

Send the product dimensions, quantity and deadline. We reply with a suggested construction, material options and an indicative price, and arrange the white sample once you are happy to go ahead.
